LG Warranty or Approved Repairs.

Any Warranty or Out of Warranty Approved repair I MUST see the purchase Receipt.  If you don't present it at the time of the first callout, or when you bring in the unit to the workshop, I have no option but to treat the job as a COD repair and bill you, since the LG won't pay me.  Plus I must have access to the compliance plate to get the full Model number and the Serial number.  The model number on the Owners or Installation Manual and/or your Receipt is only the Customer Model number and may not neccessarily be the Full Model number.

Warranty Repair
If the unit is under it's Original Warranty, just call me to either arrange to bring it into me (with receipt) or arrange a service call.

Approved Repair
If the unit is out of Warranty and after you've spoken to LG, the operators will issue you with an Case number.  This number is only used to track your Case, it isn't an authority for a warranty repair.  If you don't have this number then I'll treat any repairs as a COD job.  Once you get this Case Number, LG then wants me to look at your unit to see if it is a Genuine Warranty Fault or not.  If so I'll then contact them and get an Approved Repair number issued to the case, if not I'll bill you.  If they Approve the Repair then there is no charge to you, if they decline I'll have to bill you.

Autherised to Repair
As an Autherised Service Centre I can repair the following Under Warranty Products.  All products marked "In-Home" can either be done in your home or in my workshop, so if you rather bring the unit into the workshop that is fine.  Products marked "Workshop Only" are just that, LG won't pay for "In-Home" service on this product.  If a product is marked "Inspect" and nothing is next to it, then I'm required by LG to inspect the unit and make a report to them.  If there is "RCO" after the "Inspect" it means I'm to inspect the unit and if it's guenuinely faulty I'll write a report for you, as you the end user you have to go back to the Retail Store to get a Retail Change Over.
